INTRODUCTION
WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION
Propaganda, Censorship, disinformation and lies are the weapons of those who would deceive you in order to control you, and to protect their own wealth, status, and power.
PUBLIC RELATIONS IS ABOUT ONE THING "PROPAGANDA" AND PROPAGANDA IS ADVERTSING.
What's in fashion isn't about culture, fashion is about one thing - Advertising.
Motivating the culture to buy what they don't want or need is about one thing "PUBLIC RELATIONS" .
Congress passed in 1890 a great protectionist tariff bill, which was known as the "McKinley Act," in honor of its author who was the principal spokesman for the nationalist policy. McKinley commented that his 1890 Act had "no friends in Europe."
Having been elected Ohio's governor, William McKinley spoke in Boston Oct. 4, 1892, on the purposes of his legislation. He showed how the strong-central-government economic system, identified with American Revolution and with Lincoln's American Union, improves life for the common people, as compared to the British Free Trade system:
"We ... are opposed to British political economy.... Free trade shaves down [the workingman's] labor first, and then scales down his pay by rewarding him in a worthless and depreciated State currency."

FOX CNN MSNBC
Peak propaganda: Fox News creates an alternate reality then CNN perpetuates it
Sean Hannity & Co. will not abandon the Upside-Down zone of disinformation, which the "liberal media" amplifies - Sean Hannity & Co. will not abandon the Upside-Down zone of disinformation, which the "liberal media" amplifies ~ Salon The most damning of all, is the finding that people who watch Fox News actually know less about factual news matters than those who do not watch any news program at all. The sum effect of this is that CNN and other major American news outlets elevate right-wing talking points and falsehoods to the level of factual “news.” This legitimizes them as now being worthy of inclusion as an “alternative point of view” that should be spoken to in serious discussions of politics. CNN and the so-called liberal media then circulate right-wing propaganda to a broader public outside of the Fox News echo chamber. In the long term, this dynamic both contributes to and reflects America’s extreme political polarization because without an agreement on basic facts, it becomes extremely difficult if not impossible to have effective government.

FACEBOOK / GOOGLE ALGORITHMS
POLITICAL PROPAGANDA is now spread through 6 Facebook pages from the right and left that are often much larger than mainstream political news.
They don't report the news they only print false or misleading information that simply tells people what they want to hear.
They contain dubious, misleading, or completely false information, that gets clicked, quoted, commented, shared, favored, and covered endlessly by other media. Right-wing pages we analyzed had a much higher percentage of false and misleading information compared to the mainstream and left-wing pages. Based on our analysis, we found the hyperpartisan right-wing echo chamber to be more polarized than its counterpart on the left, and our sense is that this likely contributes to the tendency for right-wing Facebook pages to promote false and misleading information.
Devoted readers of these pages likely experience a version of the same echo chamber effect. The more they read and engage with these pages, the more Facebook will show them this content in their News Feeds. The more they click on the hyperpartisan websites, the more Google will show them search results from these sources. The result is that over time people will likely become more polarized because algorithms and friends continue to feed them information that pushes them further in this direction. This “group polarization” phenomenon is well-documented and has been shown to exist in studies of Facebook users. “The most interesting thing is that after a few days of fact-checking right-wing pages, my Google results started skewing to right-wing sites,” said one team member. The more they rely on these pages for information, the more polarized they will likely become — and the more their worldviews will be based on information that is misleading or completely false.

How Facebook plans to take over the world

The scale of Facebook’s audience is unprecedented. More than 1.6 billion people use Facebook at least once a month, or half of all internet users. That’s before you count users on other Facebook-owned sites including WhatsApp, which has more than 1 billion monthlyactive users, and photo-sharing site Instagram, which has 400 million. Facebook has also introduced its free basics service to 37 countries, offering a free but limited package of apps to mobile phone users, but which some critics say allows Facebook to tightly control the online experience of potentially the next billion people to come online. “You hear all the platitudes about Facebook connecting the planet, but to say they are doing it for benevolent reasons is absolute nonsense. It’s about connecting commerce, not people,” says venture capitalist and former journalist Om Malik, who reminds us of the hidden agenda of social networking firms: if you’re not paying, you’re the product.
